Tour in the medieval seaside and industrial quarter. We will visit around the Palau de la Música concert hall and we will also see the Cathedral of the Sea, as well as the remains of other gothic religious constructions, walking around the Born quarter.
This one is a must, as you will see precious constructions and ruins of different periods.
There is a lot to see in this quarter. Let me show you around the modernist building of the Music’s Palace, and old Romanesque chapel and a major exponent of Catalan gothic of Sta. Maria del Mar. This quarter grew outside the roman walls in front of the sea front and greatly suffered the siege of the city by the Borbon troops during the war of succession in the 18th century.
